Select Physical Therapy

It is the mission of Select Physical Therapy to provide superior care to our patients by integrating research into practice. We are committed to improve the quality of life of our patients and assure them the highest functional outcome possible.

 

Select Physical Therapy’s West Central Florida operations were founded in 1988 as a single therapist-owned private physical therapy company in Palm Harbor, Florida. In February 1997, Sports & Orthopedic Rehab Team became part of Select Medical Corporation, and in January of 2008, Sports & Orthopedic Rehab Team changed its name to Select Physical Therapy. Our West Central Florida operations include convenient locations throughout Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Polk counties. In addition, Select Physical Therapy also has a statewide network of 112 centers throughout Florida.

The key to our success is a singular commitment to rehabilitation through which we address the often-complex needs of people with disabilities and functional limitations. At the heart of this effort is our dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals, who deliver highly personalized care to each person we serve. Our physical and occupational therapists hold advanced degrees and specialized certifications, such as Doctoral and Masters' Level Degrees, Orthopedic Certified Specialists, Certified Hand Therapists, and Certified Athletic Trainers.
